is my motor blown?
i have a 93 the other day i was driving and the little red light started beeping saying to add coolant. So today i tapped off the antifreeze, started it up and the idle was stuck at 2500 rpm, blowing smoke and then i notice the temp was about a hair away from HOT.so i shut it down.any ideas?or have similar problems?

it could be a number of things, check your thermostat to see if that's within tolerance
your AWS could be goin haywire, i think there is a relay for that.....
another great thing to do is to unplug your battery for like 5 mins, this will reset everything in the ECU which sometimes seems to cure problems in FDs

I have the Apexi F1 commader will that reset if I disconnect the battery???

I do not recommend EVER bringing your car to mazda. They probably screwed something up, it's not coincidence that your car is now overheating.
