ive being searhing but all i can find is auto swaps lol. My gf rx7 is a 93 auto and i took it for a drive the other day and when you get the revs up to say 6000 and over it sounds like its leaking air, loseing boost, ive but my old air fillter on it as she had just the factory air box, so i was just woundering if this could be the promblem, its being on there four some time now i just dont drive it as i have my one to drive, ive put the airbox back on and it goes better, and one other thing is that ive being told that bov on autos are no good is this ture?

You should get a boost guage and watch the boost pattern. The bov's on auto i am assuming are the same bov's that are on the manuals you probably dont hear it cus its venting into your air filter. By the way you should make a heat shield for that intake, your suckin hot radiator fan heat through that sucker.
good luck

Don't install them unless you have a boost gauge, have established a proper 10-8-10 boost pattern and know how to set the aftermarket BOVs properly. BOVs do not control boost levels of the stock turbos and do not affect performance.
Rule #1 of modding FDs: just because you can afford the mod, bolt it on, and it appears to work doesn't mean it won't damage the car. Keep on doing the homework.
