My gauge cluster hood broke...
Something was wrong with those damn clips in the back...
Even after it shattered into a million pieces trying to get it off, I still had an extremely hard time getting those clips out of there...
Anyways, I have a 93 Touring. Will a hood from any model 93-95 fit my cluster hood?

Any hood from a left hand drive 93-95 model will fit. The 94 and 95 models have a textured surface. Good luck finding a replacement. They are hard to find.
On my old 93 style gauge hood I glued it back together and repainted it. It is still intact after about 2 years of use, however I have since switched to the 94+ textured panels. If you have a bottle of glue around it might be worthwhile to try to repair yours as a temporary fix.

I put silicone grease on my clips before I put it back in.
The trick i think may be where you pull from. If you pull from the meter surround it may cause a problem because it is only attached to the hood by four small pan head screws. The clips are in the hood. I took a bicycle brake cable and looped it behind/under the hood between the hood and dash. Wrapped the cable ends around two screwdrivers and it popped right off. You could even put duct tape around the cable to protect your finish.
