Unhappy My FD won't stay on. Please Help!!!

As the title stated, my FD will not stay on. Very difficult to get it start, but once it started, it will turn off itself. I have to keep giving it gas inorder for the car to stay on. It is not a flood, I unflood it and it fires up very easily. But if I take it out for a drive, it will die out by itself once I left my foot off the gas pedal. Then if I try to start it again, it becomes very difficult for the car to start. Once started, it needs me to keep pressing the gas pedal for it to be on. Anyone experience this before? Thanks!

what where you doing before it started running badly?

I would stop driving it and do a compression test. But maybe your lucky and knocked the map sensor off.

Map sensor is fine. I checked all compressions as well. Everything seems fine. All spark plugs are new. I still don't have a clue guys.

Swap in a stock ECU and pull the codes.

Don't switch back to the stock ECU. Chances are, since you have a single turbo, you are going to pull a ton of codes which aren't needed.

Start with the basics:

1. Has the car had this problem since your single conversion? If not, when did it start?

2. What are the results from your compression test?

3. What are your fuel mods?

1. First time ever had this problem since single conversion
2. Compression numbers are all at normals
3. Fuel Mods - 550/1300 Supra TT fuel pump

I didn't adjust the TPS. I will try to do that also.

So, did anything change just before it started happening? Poking around in the engine bay? Install something else?

What exactly where the numbers?

Have you verified you are getting the proper fuel pressure?

agree!

give us more info so we can help you figure this out. Its too vague. If you can answer Mahjik questions out especially the compression numbers that would help alot.

Check the idle air control valve as well. If it goes bad the car won't want to hold an idle. Also, I'm think I'm local to you. If you can get the car to me I can look at it or maybe take a ride to you. Shoot me a pm.

Also, check to make sure the large diameter Harness (wires) that runs above the Driver side wheel (between the inner wheel lining and the chassis) isn't torn. I had a situation where my tire ate into the lining and then into the Harness and severed about 8 individual wires. It caused the Engine to die/stall and flood.

My front-end sits pretty low. I connected the wires in the harness and everything was back to normal.
