My FD has not moved in exactly 2 months, anything i should do before taking her out?
I had gotten into a front end accident and the insurance company was pretty much dragging their feet over the whole ting, so it has taken more than expected time to fix the car. I will have it back anyday, but it has been sitting at the bodyshop, unmoved for about 2months now. Should i get all the fluids replaced before taking the FD out again? Can i just crank it over and drive off? I have heard that changing the tranny fluid is very unnecessary, but I want to do that along with oil and coolant just to have the satisfaction that she is all ready to go with new blood in her. Is this a mistake? Can someone please shed some light on this for me. Thanks fellas.

My FD sat for 7 weeks (in my garage) while I had my UIM And TB polished, and I did the vacuum hose job. The oil was fresh, so I did not change it, just checked all the fluids, let it warm up, and drove easy for a few miles, before I boosted!
It's not going to hurt anything to change all of your fluids, so if you have the time, I'd do it for peace of mind!
Good luck, and post some pics, before and after!

if you are on the stock ecu... put the gas on the floor and crank it for 3-4 seconds. this will allow oil to be pumped into places where it might have gone dry. this is also a good idea for your rotors, seals, turbo's, etc. so they get some oil, and not run dry when the car is first started.

I broke my left leg earlier this year and so obviously couln't drive my car for awhile. It sat for about 2 months. When I was able to drive it, I just cranked it up...it rumbled a little for about 5 seconds, then purred like a kitten. No problems.
I wouldn't worry...
