is my engine overheating?
i got back from driving my car and when i popped the hood i could hear like a sizzling/gurgling sound....sounded like some fluid somewhere in the engine was really hot. Is this common cause my temp. gauge showed no problems? Also if it does overheat while i am say on the interstate
, should i pull over and get it towed or wait forit to cool? Thanks alot -Jeff

Even mine does that. I never thought it as an issue.
It is important that you check the level of the coolant both at the tank and at the filler cap when the engine is cold. At the filler cap the coolant must be to the top.

You can forget about relying on the stock gauge to check on your temp, because it completely sucks. One of the things that can destroy an engine is overheating. Make sure the plastic piece is still on the front bumper. Removing the black plastic piece sometimes causes the car to run a little hotter.
