By the way " glacier white" How different is that from the stock white and how does it match with the door sides, engine compartment, etc. Unless you had all that painted as well...

EVERYTHING was painted, except for some of the engine bay. And yes I like the 99 spec too!

And Pandaz, this white iss very very white. The stock white is kind of milky and not as white, this will blind you in person.

Very clean, who is doing the work? I will be having my body redone next summer, and live between Lake Arrowhead and Redlands, although I'm up at UC Davis for college. How is R&R for rebuilds? I still haven't been to their shop, but will need to be doing my rebuild in less then two weeks, when I come down for winter break.

That'll look amazing once it is all together! White and '99 spec look amazing together. Are you planning to keep it without a spoiler?

Well Maybe we should meet up and hang out some time. I'm having a shop called Original Body shop do the body work and paint. And yes R&R does good work, Tell them Jon sent you and he'll hook ya up. I'm getting my engine rebuilt there too!

Well, don't tell anyone. But I'm getting hooked up for only $450. This includes paint, 2 clear coats, jams, color sand and buff.

what's that supposed to mean? I was being a funny guy by sayin that. That's a really good deal for the paint job they are doing, it's a $2000+ paint job. Cause they also took out all dents and scratch's. I'm pretty much getting a new car out of this accident.

Do you mean the insurance is paying most of it and you're only paying $450. Or do mean we'll get hooked up for $450 too...Just making sure

Well, I wouldn't recomend them for an FD. To be honest they took way too long to get my parts and stuff. They do good work dont get me wrong, otherwise my car wouldn't be there. But they just lag on things. If you still want more info just let me know, cause if you just want some body work and paint done then I would say go there. Otherwise I would say go somewhere else.

The paint is very good quality BTW, its dupont paint and its a factory mazda color (Glacier white). And no the paint was not baked on. To tell the truth, they can do whatever they want as long as it lasts long, no bad effects, and looks good. It also has a warrenty on the paint so I think that's good. Whatever happens to the paint they will fix for 2-4 years I think, I'll verify.

I know the feeling, mine will be disasembled as soon as I get home in just over a week, and then the motor will be rebuilt and I'll do a few other things on it in the downtime.
