My brake pedal is stiff... It will hardly move

I took out the abs unit in the engine bay when I put my new motor in... When I connected all the brake lines and pushed on the pedal, there was hardly any movement... Also I can hardly roll the car... It's like my brakes are compressed

Did you bleed the brakes?

Or no vacuum in the booster from not running the engine?
