My Battery Relocation
Have you tried starting the car with this setup yet? I haven't seen a circuit breaker used in the starter power circuit before. The 150 Amp rating seems low -- especially if it's cold and you have to move thick oil.
150A works fine for my setup with the Miata battery, started the car about 5 times in the spam of 4 hrs on Saturday with some driving in between, temp was in the teens that night and I run 10w40 oil.
like he said 150A was fine.
I have started it on multiple occasions already including a few times after the car sat in ~10 deg chicago temps.
Started without even a hiccup

^ Any picture of it in the rear bin? I'm gonna go with the 3121 when my Miata battery dies.
Ahh, I vented my Miata battery
I drilled a hole behind the bin, inserted a grommet and run that red silicone hose out by the rear subframe. The rubber hoses are some tight angle pre-bent hose I have laying around from my MX-6, so they are not pinch against the bin.

The initial burst of cranking amps isn't gonna effect that breaker. Once the engine begins spinning, the cranking amps and load drops substantial. Now really long duration cranks may pose a problem if the engine ever floods.
