Yeah, the problem was with using the Piston engine compression tool, i wasn't able to see if there are any differences in the spikes on the front rotor.

But when i moved it manually and was listening for the puffs, you can definetelly tell one is the loudest and other 2 are kind of low...

Today, i removed the engine and tomorrow i'm gonna remove everything off of it and get it ready for tear down.

Well, it turns out 1 apex seal is broken on the front rotor. It also messed up my front housing so i need to start shopping for one.

Just wanted to give a little update.

good luck with the build, look into ditching thoes stock Peices of junk.

As dub said water injection would be a good idea to keep that charge air temp in check.

what stock pieces of junk? the twins?

I suspected the seal but i wanted to make sure before i took the engine apart.

What do i need water injection for? I think the intake temps were low enough. I'm still not sure why it blew...

SMIC and 15psi on twins = not cool intake temps.

that's my guess why it blew

It was 50 degrees outside i doubt the smic wasn't cooling it enough. I know when i pulled over, the intake side of the IC was mild not hot or anything.
