BINGO!

I should mention too.... I'm running a stock engine with no porting..... the audio at the start is pinched from a 787B (but I'm sure most of you already guessed that!!)

Like stated before, RX-8 wheels are 18x8 at 50mm and of course they weight more than the stockers, they are 18s.

Looks great. I've been trying to work out a 787b themed paint job for an FD in my head for a while, looks like you executed it well.

Ditched it and built a V mount.

The W2A worked really well for short stints but V mount is much better if I want to do any sort of endurance events for the car.

Gives me more options for racing.

There is some serious incentive to keep it clean through that chicane.

Great idea, especially for a track car.

I've got RX-8 wheels as well – I think they throw off the speedometer and odometer slightly, but they don't look as outrageous as you would think.

Cheers guys.

Yeah the car is a lot of fun and this track right on the beach has very little room for error. I've been racing here for 13 years and in that time I've seen a lot of people come unstuck and smack sandbags, guardrail, telegraph poles, gutters and rock walls.

The place isn't for the faint of heart but if you can thread the needle properly, it is a very rewarding hillclimb track. It used to be longer which was great but an unstable cliff face meant it had to be shortened.

Yes mate, was black (and still is underneath the vinyl) if I ever get sick of the 787 theme, can just peel it off!!
