Smile My 7 Works Again!

I mean, it works for the first time properly since I bought it...

I was having funky boost issues since I bought it in march and was dreading the hose job and kept putting it off...basically what was happening was when I would go past 4k-4krpm I wouldn't get any boost when I upshifted...

About 3 weeks ago my alternator went out and I replace it yesterday when pulling everything apart to get the alternator out I also had to take the vacuum/pressure chamber off (can't remember which one is right on top of everything). I noticed one of the solenoids (the green and black valve thingy) right under the chamber was coming apart at the seam...basically I took it out cleand it, superglued it back together and now I have a perfect boost pattern! whoopieee for me!

Thought I would post this just incase anyone else was having a similar problem...

later,
Me

That isnn't a sloenoid that is a check valve. You should get a new one from mazda. That superglue may not hold up very long. Glad to hear you are boostin again.

Thanks dude...I totally have this God complex going on now that I feel like I fixed something serious! But then the idea of me not even know the difference between a check valve and a solenoid brings me back to earth
