my 1000th post!!! Meth install plus dual oil cooler!

First off i would like to thank everyone who has helped me over the years, without some of you i would be lost. Moving on i just wanted to make this 1000th post memorable by showing my little christmas/ new years project. First up is my meth kit which is the VC-2 failsafe from coolingmist. Looking back now i wish i would have sprung for the kit with the gauge cause the controller is massive and i have no where to mount it!!

Anyways here is what you get in the kit.

The flow sensor, check valve, and filter.

Stock tank

Fitting mounted

Level Sensor

Pump Mounted (Realized the flow sensor was on the wrong side of pump )

Now some pics of the oil coolers. I decided to use a stock drivers side cooler and just make my own brackets. I also modified a drivers duct to work with it too using some aluminum flashing and some crazy strong black duct tape I found. Think it turned out not to shabby.

Setrab fittings 22 x 1.5 fit perfect no leaks with OEM washers.

"fancy" duct work

simple brackets

nice! You're going to love the extra cooling thanks to the duals! The "fancy" ducting is perfectly functional, no worries on that. Congrats on the water meth kit, that's on my mod list for 2011

Helpful. I'm reading up on AI now and trying to keep my head from spinning.

Any idea how many liters/quarts the WS washer tank is? And maybe I missed it, but I didn't see the filters on Coolingmist's site.

no clue on how much it hold but its definitely enought for my application. The filter comes with the failsafe version of the VC-2 and i didnt see it either on the site by itself, but if you call them im sure they could get you one.

Where did you mount the pump? I see the photo but I'm not sure where that is. I just mounted mine above the passenger side tow hook but yours looks like a good location too.

I just measured the volume of a spare FD tank I have. It's....

8.25 cups, or.52 gallons, or roughly 2 quarts

This is the tank only, not the filler tube which I believe would hold another cup or two.

Are you still going to be able to use your washer? It looks like it's going to be hard to hook up the hose. I mounted my suction line on the bottom of the tank. Of course I did it wrong the first time so I had to buy a spare tank.

While you have the bumper off, consider upgrading your horns (I chose Hella Supertones which are a pretty easy install).
