Mud Guard Adhesive

Heya

On my left rear mud guard (dealer installed/aftermarket item I think) the adhesive came loose due to gasoline soaking. Does anyone know where to get more of the double sticky tape that mazda used or what a substitute product might be?

Thanks,
Brian

3M double sided tape will do the job. Or you can use some clear silicon/chaulk. Either will do the job.

3M double sided tape will work, but make sure you use the weather proof version of it. They make it specifically for body moldings, and I've seen it in most regular auto parts stores.

Also available at Ace. It's the grey stuff. Try to apply it in the same "strip" as the original and trim it with an Exacto scalpel to fit. Make sure you clean both surfaces completely with alcohol.
Once it is applied you will not be able to re-position it.
