MSD 6A box burning hot?

MSD 6A box burning hot?
After a little bit of driving I poped the hood to let the car cool off a little and noticed the MSD ignition box was burning hot. I mean I could probably boil a pan of water on it. Just wondering if this is normal?

I have one and it doesn't seem to run that hot.

Where do you have it mounted and what are you driving with it?
