MSD in 3rd Gen?

Hi, i have a 1993 RX-7. I purchased an MSD ingnition system, along with MSD components. Now someone told me that MSD's are not good on third gens. He said that they blow motors like crazy. Is this true? Has anyone expierenced MSD products on an rx-7. If so how has it been.

there's only 1 way to find out

I'm running the msd dis-2 and the 6a with no problems on my single turbo FD. (knock on wood)
