Question Moving the stock solenoids

Has anyone tried moving the stock turbo control and emissions solenoids to another location in the engine bay? I know that Rob Bailey made a kit to do this, but he seems otherwise unavailable. Anyone know if this is feasible/possible? I'm looking to do this to allow for easier troubleshooting, but I'm not sure if the stock solenoids can handle it.

Any ideas?

Yeah, a friend of mine moved the solenoids next to the ABS, mounted on the firewall. I'll ask him about it.

Yeah it's really very easy to relocate them. The only concern I would have is the response time that it would generate. They are already pretty slow and adding vacuum line wouldn't help.
