Mounting of HKS Twin Power

For those with the HKS Twin Power, where and how did you mount the unit? I understand for the R1/R2 a good place is where the cruise control unit is on the other models. As I have a '93 base FD with cruise control, that's not an option for me. Pics would be appreciated, also. Thanks

Hi Joe,

I mounted it to the cruise control unit with a single bolt and nut (with a lock washer or nylock so it doesn't come loose). There's a tab sticking up on it on the firewall side. It worked great.

I mounted mine under the CC unit, theres plenty of room, although you can't see it. Not a great mounting place if you want to show it off. Bling factor : 0

How did you mount it? Are there pre-drilled holes available, or did you use double-sided tape, or ....? Thanks

Is it possible to mount it inside the car on the passangers side? I've seen it done on an RX-7 before and it seemed like a good and easy place to put it. Anyone ever heard of this? it's supposed to help protect the unit from the heat of the engine bay. My Twin Power is arriving on friday, so im still not sure where im going to mount it.

I'm not sure if I would do that.. I would keep the wires as shortest possible.. Cruise control area is pretty far from the engine
