Mounting FAL rear window

Mounting FAL rear window
Ive looked over older threads, but couldn't find any concrete info. For the guys that are running a polycarbonate rear hatch window, how are you mounting it? Im also using a Seibon CF hatch, not that it should make a difference. Instructions that come with the window just say to mount it like the factory glass, but every one Ive seen in person had holes drilled into it, and it bolted down. Im fine with either, the bolts method would probably be easier since I would do that myself vs having to take it to a windshield shop to have it factory mounted.. but just wanted to see what the consensus was from those who are currently using them.

Haven't done one myself, one of my buddies mounted his with a friend,(to align other side) you can buy 3m window weld from most auto part stores or even amazon, uses a regular caulk gun
I know Jim has run it this way for years with no problems, that window weld is amazing,
But on his race car he added rivets just for "saftey"
The 3m window weld is the same stuff all the pro's use to seal front, rear quarter and rear windows with, once it sets it's just like the factory gooo... Permanent

You can use window weld but you need to have at least some bolts. I have a cf hatch and I tried installing the plexi with only glue, installed by my glass guy. You know what happened? The window started lifting when the car was parked in the sun. I tried to go home real slow but the glass ended up flying off!
I ended up reinstalling the OEM glass. Turns out even the OEM glass has like two or three bolts. If I were to do it again I would use glue and some nice black rivets.
