motor sitting for 2 years need help

I got a jdm spec 13b-tt about a year and a half ago threw a deal i could not pass up the kid had it for about 6 months which he bought it threw a shop here in washington that got it shipped from japan for him. i have now let it sit in my car for a year and a half for multiple reasons. 1 its in a fc and 2 i have been doing alot of things to the car well now im getting ready to finish the car and about a month ago i turned the motor over and it didnt seem like it had an compression. please help in with what i should do i really dont have the money right now to rebuild the motor im just needing to get it running. i dont have a a tranny in the car right now cuz i dont have a flywheel or starter so the motor is not going to run at the moment but wat should i do to c if the motor is even good or not please help.

pull spark plugs out, put some oil in it, turn it by hand, more oil, then do a compression test

just regular motor oil or atf

Doesn't really matter. ATF will burn easier. You can also use MMO.
