Okay, so I've pulled my motor and I have all kinds of time to do things to the engine bay (i sent the motor to pineapple)

Here are things i've come up with:

* Refinish A/C Condensor/Dryer to a polished look, along with all lines going to them

*Respray engine bay

* Remove ignition wiring harness and main engine wiring harness, refinish the wiring harnesses with monster cable for ground points and starter/alternator points, heat shrink the rest back

* Replace the banjo oil line from the front housing to the oil coolers with metric->AN adapters, as well as the oil line to the turbos

* Powdercoat: Engine Lift hooks, UIM, TB, LIM, Waterpump housing, water pump, main pulley, idler pulley, thermostat housing, intake pipes, IC pipes, PS/AC bracket, engine subframe, Alternator, alternator bracket, transmission bell housing

* Polyurethane Motor mounts, DIY kind

* Sheet metal air duct for IC-> Radiator

* Replace all coolant hoses, heater hoses, etc with silicone (any idea on the diameters to order?)

* Remove all solenoids/Sequential systems, plug all nipples on y-pipe, UIM, LIM, and remove the big chunk of metal supporting the airpump bracket off the water pump housing

* Modify exhast manifold for non seq, as well as y-pipe, precontrol, etc

* block off plate, all emissions related items removed, extend the harnesses on the radiator fans

* install 4 cleaned 850CC injectors, new cleaned MOP, new oil injectors, and MOP lines

can anyone think of anything else?

The engine i am ordering is a stage 1 oil mod, street ported 3mm pineapple engine w/ lightened flywheel/pressureplate/some sort of race clutch

dunno thats what im tryin to figure out on mine, I got rid of my PS and AC installed BOV's on everything uneeded, cut unused connectors out of harness, at the ECU connector. ReSprayed engine bay...

I did alot of the stuff you are wanting to do, no I just can't hold an Idle...

sounds like you blocked off the idle speed control motor...i did that and you can tune the engine out without it

either that or you forgot to seal one of the block off plates correctly

Because that's alot to change at once...(Why not go 1300s and 850s, and get a boost controller and get the BnR III's while your at it. get the efini y and mid pipe, also)

tim benton will be tuning it, 850cc's are free, and the midpipe is already in my garage

yeah i took the idle speed control motor out, how can I get it runnin right without it?

adjust the bleed screw (under where the elbow fits onto the TB) with a flathead, it should be screwed all the way in, and then backed out just a tad...

then adjust your primary (single butterfly) throttle screw, it's near where the throttle cable attaches to the throttle assembly, it has an 8mm lock nut, and you back it out to lower idle, and screw it in to raise idle

the bleed screw should control the "bucking" and the other screw controls idle speed

adjust it while the engine is warmed up with the a/c on, and get it to 1000rpms, it should drop to 800 rpms without the a/c on, and should be perfect

rob said it would take approx 5 weeks, but i might let him keep it longer, as i have to pay to get it back i'm trying to do everything i can while i have the engine out, the ignition harness is coming along nicely, it's sitting in my shower with electramotive all over it removing the electrical goo

i'm removing all unnecessary wires from the wiring harnesses so pinout diagrams and wires are all over my apartment

it should turn out awesome

tim: i'm taking your suggestion on the lightened flywheel/pressure plate and i'm going with a new clutch while i'm at it

marshall: are you still going single? if either if you need any 13B parts, solenoids, etc, i have them all

if either of you want anything powdercoated, let me know, you could probably get a better deal if you get it done w/ all of my parts

batlground can do it, but i'm thinking conyers speedworld as i've seen their results and i'm impressed

yeah, just got done grinding the old rubber off the motor mounts and sandblasting them clean, i'm about to powdercoat them gunmetal and assemble with the new urethane

then i'm shipping it off to pineapple, i decided to go with "jason's port" and should have a nice lobe to the idle with a large street port

lightweight flywheel and 6 puck clutch are my next order of business, i have pics before/after of the engine bay progress, i'm searching for some M6x1.00mmx10mm hexhead w/ flange bolts now to reassemble the engine bay accessories
