Mazdatrix.com has them for around $280 ea, or we can make you a set of polyurethane ones for $250.

Joeyz87 - go to the for sale section and put out a post WTB: oem motor mounts. You will have plenty of offers within a day or two. These are extremely expensive oem parts, almost $300 a piece. Used ones in great condition are still not cheap, but may be able to find someone that will give them too you a hundred a piece or so. This is what I did, saved me a couple hundred bucks, also you can look at "pucking" the ones you have. It requires you to take the motor mount apart and put in a polyurathane puck to cause the dampening. I have heard that it adds a lot of shiver and shake to the chasis. So do a search on motor mounts and read the different options, I hope you have enough patience to do that. Good luck.

P.S. - have you talked to a rotary mechanic yet? If not get on the phone and check it out. You will save yourself a lot of money and time. Trust me. Plus I am not giving up until you do.

You probably only need to replace the drivers side mount. It is aluminum, and prone to failure. They are now using steel/iron mounts on the drivers side. The passenger side mounts have always been steel/iron, and seldom fail.

that is true, most of the time. On the other hand, I had a bad passenger side mount. They take a lot after 12 years. I tightened up other stuff to make sure I don't blow through the ones I got in there now. ETB, gotham oil pan brace, and good mounts and I have little to no torque twist, even when getting on it. I love it. It is a sturdy ****. Drives way nicer. shifting is precise, I used to miss third all the time, put some Neo sythetic in there and its a smooth as silk.

sorry to jump in on your topic, but since i saw motor mounts...i had a question about a shaking shifter at launch. It shakes like really violently when i take off from a stand still. Tires do skip a little when this happens...what could it be? diff. mounts? engine mounts? PPF?

OM Broken09. I used his mounts and they are the exact same as some of these $250 urethane mounts, but less than half the price. I recieved the part quickly as well! A+ guy.

WONG FRIED RICE - If your shifter is moving up and down alot when launching, braking, etc. And you hear a clunking from the rear when shifting hard, Its most likely your PPF. Mine was nearly broken in half.

I just snagged a pair of mint stock mounts for $100 in the FS section looking through old posts - guy was doing an LS-1 swap.
