im going to disagree with your disagree. IF companies poorly conduct service and put theyre customers through hell and back why should anyone cover their back? how is this looking out for one another? nothing pisses me off more then a mechanic or shop taking advantage of people.
Let's just say it's hovering around the $100K mark. With proper planning and working with the correct shop, you could get this done for $30K for the engine swap.

As for potshots, it is called the truth. There is a reason those companies are no longer doing business/changed locations. Bottom line is, if the companies did their job right the first time around, then I wouldn't have to write something negative about them.

Well done sir.. i give you a lot of props for sticking around with your project even after ppl ******* up and not getting your car right several times. i have to say that you are a very patient men.
