I'm all for calling out shops with shoddy service. I agreed with HWND on the "slant" of the article as it's more of a rotary enthusiast's read versus a pure "tell me about the car" read.

I did enjoy reading the article and looking at the pictures.
Let's just say it's hovering around the $100K mark. With proper planning and working with the correct shop, you could get this done for $30K for the engine swap.

Keep your man card. I know exactly what I'm packing and who I'm married to! :-)

But yes, I think that ghostly white girl looks sickly.

For sure. In addition to DGRR, I was there for the photoshoot/rainy lunch with Scott and David. The story is more surreal hearing it, than reading it page by page over the years.

Then when David shows you the little things inside and out, it's like

Congrats on the spread, and my late post

As for potshots, it is called the truth. There is a reason those companies are no longer doing business/changed locations. Bottom line is, if the companies did their job right the first time around, then I wouldn't have to write something negative about them.

Thanks for the compliments guys. It is a surreal story and one of perseverance. You going to make it next week to DGRRX Carlo? Looks like the Dragon will be open this Wednesday.
