I would say the CYM but i could be bias being i have one.I think as long as there clean and in mint condition its whatever the individual likes. The CYM is eye candy

 

1st choice would be the CYM. Second choice, black with red interior. Third choice, white with tan interior. Fouth choice, silver with red interior. I had to settle for the red with tan interior with 9,500 miles. Dammit!

 

Aren't SSM R2s even including both years (94-95) the rarest "R" package period? Though I like R1s better due to their more agressive nature, and obviously CYM is by far the rarest R1. Red's are the most common, and despite my distaste for red cars, I couldn't pass mine up. I wanted a black one but I couldn't find one, and I got a good deal on the one I own. Really any RX7 that is still in decent shape is getting to be desirable, seems like they get rarer all the time.

Hands down, has to be the last Spirit R to roll off the line a few years ago. It was the grey color and a 2 seater.
