more Stock IC findings....
Was out running some numbers on the stock IC. Without all the boring math, basically the only time air is going through that thing is when you're off the throttle and moving. Essentially whenever the secondary is on line, its using all of the air in the duct and sucking the rest it needs backwards throught the interheater -err cooler.
My recommendation for all the stock airbox/intercooler people: Do the Adam C aka "Cheap Bastard" Airbox mod and block the section of the duct leading to your airbox......now!
..more to follow.

Marshall, I am using the stock I/C and don't have temp gages connected but I installed two 4 amp brake cooling fans to it and made a sealed shroud as well. I have a 4 inch duct transferring the intake air via intercooler duct. I am assuming the fans will direct air past the I/C despite the draw from the intake at wide open throttle but have not set up any electronics to view real data. I can see a huge differences in the surface temperature of the I/C just using my touch. Any thoughts on this cheep set up??
