more problems..help :(

Woke up today and the 7 is ideling really rough, now before yall tell me to search... i did none were like this + i checked most of those ideas.

When you start the car sometimes its reluctant to stat other times it jumps alive.
while idleing it is around 900 rpm like normal but it shakes. pretty bad you can feel it inside the car and when you open the hood even the battery is shaking.
the idling sounds normal "blurp tick blurp tick blurp tick blrup tick"
the ticking is new, but i think thats from the engine shaking and its hitting something. My cousin swears its coming from the bottom of the engine.

on the otherhand , when you rev it it will smooth out and it hauls *** like normal
but it just has me worried becuse it never did this till now.

I thought it was rich so we found a straight away and wailed on it. Scrathed secound and let off, no flames nothing so im assuming its not rich.
so i guess, it could be timing related.. still waiting on to check that.

but while we turn the lights on the car will almost die drop to about 500 rpm then recover. same thing when we turn the lights off? whats up with that?

i read somewhere it could also be the air pump? how does that work?

thanks guys!

Ok, first off, I can almost guarantee its not a timing issue... Secondly you're car is exhibiting all the telltale signs of a chipped seal... In order to rule that out, if you dont have access to a compression tester, just pull on of the plugs on the front, then rear rotor. Pull the wires off the spark plugs. Crank the engine a second, for the front and the rear rotor. You should hear a WOOSH-WOOSH-WOOSH... Any other variation, and you are probably lookin at a new engine.

Might as well check your Map sensor while you are at it, another thing that it could be is your plugs...

Im almost betting its your plugs. Just go buy a new set, and throw them in there and see if she runs better

You can also check your spark plug wires too, that sound you are saying sounds like what happened to my 2nd Gen, one of the wires got spliced and there was spark coming out of the wires hitting the engine and idle was rough but when driven it ran strong.

That's just one place to look I could be wrong, but you never know...

old school way to check for spark plug wires going to ground spary some water mist on them with the car running and if it is arcing you will see and hear it very easily. the ticking may also be an exhaust leak. as was said b4 check the plugs and do the easy comp test

lol thanks guys!
at first i thought it was a seal also, it burns oil on startup sometimes its none, othertimes its a little the rest full out fogging for mesquitos.
compression is good in the low 8's on all 2 rotors so were getting it fixed, eventually lol..gotta get the warentee some rest

also had trouble with the sparkplug wires one fell off a while back, maybe it happed again.
i briefly looked at it last night but it was dark so i could have overlooked them.
lol when i said timing i meant in all forms (ie. sparkplugs, wires , coil , comp. etc etc)
