in the first pic, how is the front of the car stilled and the back is blurred out..

is that the cam? or pictures usually come out like that or was it the movement?

anyway, great car and the pics were great!!

I think it's a delay in the flash setting, similar to the "anti-red-eye" setup that lights off a "pre-flash" before the actual shot is taken. Looks cool nonetheless...

The action photos appear as if they were taken in late light, and if the camera has a built-in flash, it could easily decide that there wasn't quite enough ambient light for the particular shot. Just because you're in daylight hours doesn't mean a flash won't be used.

thats true, but im just saying that it has to do with speed and focal point, not a delayed flash

To make a car still and the background blurry giving the illusion of speed, you need to decrease the shutter speed and follow the car with the camera. It helps when you keep both eyes open (as the camera's shutter will close the viewfinder momentarily) and if you have the camera set for taking several pics without having to re-activate your autofocus. I hope this helps.

i dont think he was talking the background, he was talking the cars front wheel vs the rear wheel, it not motion blur he is referring to, its focal point...the front of the car was in focus, the rear was not.... it has to do with depth of field parameters more than motion.

Thumbs up

Nice my 777th post..

Beautiful car. The shipping mix-up might have been a good thing afterall. I think it best suits your car.
