More info on KnightSports intake

Hi, I'm sorry for the lag on everything, lately I have been tied up with some problems and projects. The Knight Sports filter kit is really just like any other cool air induction kit but it's got more road race features.
Unlike the HKS, Apex kit the Knight Sports kit draws air from the front of the car and direct it to the filter.
Kinda like the Racing Beat cool air duct, but the Knight Sports system is actually a complete kit.
There are many companies in Japan that deals with Rotarys, but Knight Sports is really the only one who deals with the longevity of the car, and they make parts to benefit the car in long circuit races.

Thanks again,
Tony Yeh

Hi how are you, sorry I just saw your mail today.
the KS kit have a air duct but also combines a funnel filter. The air duct is two piece which covers the top and bottom to keep away hot air from the radiator.
Currently we have a couple of these kits on the way here, and I will post better pictures of it when it arrives.

Thanks again,
Tony Yeh

$780 + Japan to US shipping + tax + store to your door shipping.

I have nothing to do with the company nor can I get them myself. Just passing on info for all the guys that replied on the "best intake" thread.

You can also try asking www.rx7store.net

I cant believe that thing is $780. Dont waste the money. Its the samething as the Racingbeat intake duct with a K&N filter in the stock air box. You can get the duct and filter for around $150.

I agree the the KS filter is really expensive but it is better than the RB ones. But, there are better things to spend your money on too.

The newer KS ducts are now made of CF not FG like the original ones it is bad *** and very functional. BUT $$$$$$$$$$$$.

It's funny many FD street cars go to KS over RE in japan. If you go to KS most of the cars being worked on have RE kits.

Oh and a funny note they guy who rebuilds the motors at KS is a buhdist monk. My friend who used to be the US KS rep tells me all the fun stories about KS. He went back this past auto salon and stopped by KS again. Buhdda is still building motors there....maybe one day he'll bless one for me.
