Question more FMIC no bumper reinforcement stuff

Hi, I have an FD and my problem is this:

I am getting a MazdaSpeed front bumper and it seems to have larger area for radiator and IC. I have a custom FMIC with HKS ends and griffin core. It's huge, so huge that the previous owner removed the bumper reinforcement. I also have a Fluidyne radiator on the car.

The previous owner told me the IC is good up to 14 lbs of boost. Am I better off getting another IC? I want the bumper reinforcement. I bought 2 Perma 10" HiPo fans (3200 cfms) for the radiator. I did have heating problems, but the previous owner put on Autozone fans after the stockers died. THe FMIC also caused high heat temps as we all know. The current custom FMIC is as wide as the Fludyne radiator and about 2 feet tall. It's huge and the previous owner had to cut the bumper and the under cover to make it work. I think it's a bad design and probaly promoted lag.

I'll get pics up asap. I do have AC and want to keep it that way. HAs anyone done water cooling like the Audi R8's in AMLS -- where there's water injection on intercoolers? Practical? Y/N?

Basically, I want a functional car that's reliable. I live in North Eastern states, so high temps aren't that big a deal, but I do stop and go sometimes. I want to take advange of the Mazdaspeed bumper for more air flow. So would a SMIC be good then? It has a slot for air in the nose and I"m sure shrouds can help deflect air to it. Also, maybe a water injection system or fan?

I read about F40 stuff on my searches. Do they have FMIC or SMIC? Can't beat Ferarri aerodynamics and cooling fits.

Also, I haven't looked up Horizontally mount IC's, but /w the MazdaSpeed Bumper, could that work well? Or would the radiator get in the way?
