MBM looks OK when clean, best at night, but like *** when even slightly dirty, when the shine goes out of the paint.
However, I didn't have a choice. The two new '95s that Chaplin's of Bellevue imported in early '97 were both MBM. I took the one with less miles (108) that still had the factory plastic all over the interior after driving the other (4xx miles). And as many of you know, it ain't MBM no mo'.

I used to want a mb, but once I took a close look at one I didnt like how it looked green in the sun. So thats how I ended up with my Silver one. Which is my favorite.

I think MB looks great when its very blue, or very green. Looks bad when its inbetween. But I've seen mostly pictures, only seen a couple in person and havent seen one in a while.
VR is great cause its red, but Vintage Pink isn't very cool.
CYM is great in person, shitty in almost all pictures, very nice color but sucks that you can't match the color
Silver looks great
Black looks good, but I dunno about it
A candy red would be nice (isn't steve kans drag car that?)
Whites always nice
I like MB a lot because I love green, a nice british racing would rule. just a dark mettalic green
Blue is great too.

For the record, and as the owner of a VR w/like-new paint, VR looks pink when it's FADED. A fresh VR approaches the color of not-so fresh blood in the dark, and more orangish in the sun. When the clear coat gets toasted, it all goes to hell.
FWIW, this "best FD color" thing has been beaten to death in the interior forum.
So, to be more on topic: MB... I don't hate it. But it's not my fave. Personally, it reminds me of my mother's suzuki sidekick, which it actually doesn't look half bad on. Just being honest.

I have a MB car, but I wasn't shopping for that color when I bought the car. I don't really have a favorite, but I don't think MB would be at the top of my list if I had to choose. Here are some pros and cons:
PRO
- mature color, keep the cops away
- looks cool when it is clean
CON
- pain in the *** to keep clean, like any dark color, but some of us like it dirty anyway to avoid drawing attention to the way we are driving
- not a very sporty color
I like red and it seems like the "right" color for the car's sporting nature, but it draws a lot of attention and tend to turn pink. Black looks cool and mean, but is hard to keep clean (I'm a poet...). CYM is the color we all love, but it draws more attention from bugs and cops than I would want -- this might be my favorite color for someone else's FD. White looks nice and clean (and tends to stay that way), plus it is rare. Silver looks nice without drawing tons of attention, and stays clean, so I guess it might be my favorite. But it is hard to choose -- each color has its advantages and disavantages.

MB is a beautiful color, but as max said hard to keep clean. Nothing better than an mb with fresh Zaino treatment. I agree that vr is "the" color for the fd, but I would love a cym track car.
I've always liked black, but when I saw briank's ss fd it was the only way I could go. He sold his car the day I made an offer on it...anyway nice pics of a perfect ss fd:http://hero.com/~briank/RX7/

1. CYM
2. Black or Silver
3. VR
MB is on every damn FD I see. It's somewhat of a bland ambiguous color too.
We need access to more color choices like the JDM market.

Montego Blue was the one color that I said I would never buy because all the MBs that I saw looked like crap, but then I saw this one (mine)!
I still love CYM though...

I hate MB! It's a terrible color! The only reason why I bought mine is because of the other details of the car! As soon as I get back to the states, I'll definitely be painting it!!!

At first i didnt like montego blue... I searched the whole east coast for a CYM in good condition willing to pay asking price. But all of them were either blown or more like a light egg yellow that CYM. I got the montego blue because it was the best condition car I could find with the least miles. I must say... in the last 2 years the color has grown on me but I still think about the color Im going to repaint the thing. At this point the only thing that would make me go through with a color change would be an accident. Even so I would probably stay with some shade of blue..... or pink.
