Question money, money, money

Just got a question for all ya fd owners out there. Im looking at getting one next fall/winter but prob wont be able to get it till the following summer. This problem of course is the money! Id just like to know how much u guys put down for a down payment and all. Im going into the air national guard and am expecting to be in that for a year before i get the fd to have good credit. So if u guys could give me some hints that would be great!

Save some money then some more, for all the fun stuff you have and want to do to the car.

I actually put 0 down on mine, traded in a truck worth the usually 2500.00 though, and btw something was wrong with my car when I bought it, it actually had a really clogged cat, but the dealer thought the motor was blown, so he wrote me a check for 3g's... I guess that's just the luck of the draw though, it helps that I had my dad there to haggle a deal for me.. But true save up lots of money for any problems that might arise and so that you can upgrade the car, because you will get the bug to do so really quick..
