Money invested in FD?

I was just curious about this, how much money has everyone invested into their FD in total including repairs, NOT counting the cost of the car.

But the problem was that the poll said: 0-$100, $100-$200, or if your crazy $200+.. also, he didn't specify if he meant the car included and maitenence included...

Alright, I have a bone to pick with the title of this post.

(standing on soap box)

You ask how much money have you invested in your FD. An investment sugests that you are expecting a return on the money you put into the car in the form of mods and upgrades. You will never get get as much money out of it as you put into it. Mods do nothing for a cars value or its collectability ten years down the road. My FD is not my investment it is my toy so I treat it as such.

you are correct from a financial point of view...but you could consider it an investment in terms of how happy it makes you feel....like investing in your education, marriage, children, etc.

Spent almost 2K on this bitch. Only had it for a little over a month. This includes: parts, fluids, labor, etc.
