Momo steering wheel adapter - need your help

The chart calls for a 5705 momo adapter but that one looks like it's accondian style ( with ridges ). Several years ago I bought a commando sheel and an adapter that is smooth. I am lookign for another smooth style adapter for my MBM project which has another commando wheel.

Anyone know where I can get a smooth steering wheel adapter ?

The adapter sold at this website for the 90-97 Miata will work perfectly and make the installation an easy bolt on:

that is the one i have, works great. It has a connection for the airbag too so you don't have to see the light on your dash.

It the sleeve that fits over the adapter smooth or crinkled ? I would like to either sand it down smooth and paint semi-flat black of find a smooth one.

Is it me, or does anyone else find it hard to justify almost $500 for an aftermarket steering wheel and adapter hub???

that's a bit steep. I got my wheel for a deal at a close out, only $110, the hub adaptor was $115.

I track my car, so the smaller wheel diameter works better and i get more feedback. If my car only saw street duty, i wouldn't bother.

hmmm, maybe I came across some crazy pricing, but whenever I have looked up the Momo wheels, like the Millenium, I saw prices like $325

EDIT: Ok, I just did some searching and see they are lower. I then checked eBay and found this. For that price I'd buy it, does that like the real thing?

Yep, it is.
I got that one, but with the gray trim.
Keep in mind that the spokes are not solid like the other Millenium one, the one without the trim.

Either way, I love mine.
