mods that I can run on pettit ecu??

I already have cat back, hi flo cat, dp, and intake. I want to get a fmic, a fuel pump, and possibly 1300cc injectors. My question is if I just get the fmic and fuel pump will I be okay? And if I get the injectors too will I still be okay running off the pettit ecu? Thanks for your help

I have a Pettit Ecu too and this are my mods:

*Pettit street ported with 3mm apex seals engine.
*Non sequential Pettit HF turbos.
*Custom cold air intake.
*Pettit ECU upgrade -it handles until 14.5 psi-
*10 inch Magnecor wires.
*Profec B bost controller.
*J&S Knock sensor with monitor -v0 unit-
*DP
*MP & CP -3 inch diameter- with free flow resonator. -no cat-
*Apexi cat-back. -4 inch diameter-
*Aluminium flywheel
*Stillel anti stress bar.
*Short shifter.
*Eibach springs.
*Hawks pads.
*Autometer A-pillar pod
*Autometer temp gauge.
*Autometer A/F gauge.
*Autometer boost gauge.
*Pettit AST
*Unleaded 95 octanes gas -all time-
*Boost: 10 PSI. -safety-

The importat thing here are the engine mods. I have not experienced any problem -thanks to God- until now. Well, I need a new clutch.

Do you know what are the capabilities of a Pettit Ecu?
Fuel cut?
RPM limiter?
can handle bigger injectors, etc?

Thanks, RT.

Limit on Pettit ECU

Your only limit is pounds of boost....12.5 psi on pump gas 14.75 on racing gas....... thats recomended by Pettit

the pettit ecu is not set up for anything other than the stock fuel system, fullexhaust, and big IC...you need a PFC or preferably Haltech for bigger injectors

Just call Pettit and talk to them. They'll give you all the info you need.

Yeah, you might run into trouble with larger injectors with the Pettit. You'll need a PFC or Haltech as mentioned earlier.

If you need more fuel injectors just use a Greddy Rebic, or Haltech F5, these are both additional injector controllers and work great

I talked with Jeff at Pettit a few months ago and asked if they were ever going to produce a chip/ECU for bigger injectors...he said they have no plans to do so, but that he would get back to me in a week or so....I never heard back from him

the more mods you have, the more difficult it becomes to produce a "plug and play" ECU, since the tuning window gets smaller and smaller with more fuel/mods

buy a Haltech if you are serious about more power...I have never heard anything bad about it, other than the headache of getting it tuned the first time
