Modifying Stock Temp Gauge

is there a way to modify the stock temp gauge so that it is more accurate?

haven't heard of one but the easy way out is to buy a water temp gauge for like 50 bucks.

There is a way to linearize the stock temp gauge:

Linearizing it doesnt fix the gauge... it only moves the reading range up... while it will better inform you of a high temp scenario the lower temperature range (warm up) will not show accurately... This really isnt a problem as long as you let your car warm up properly or dont boost at all for the first few minutes of your trip.
