Modification Problems

I just recently installed a catback exhaust, dual intake, greddy type rs blow off, and a fmic on my 93 rx7. When i started the car it ran great for about a minute and then bogged out......any body have any suggestions of why that could be ??

It's really doubtful that something like modding it would cause something this disastrous to happen. Are you sure you didn't leave anything in the intake tract or possible disconnected your MAP sensor?

A disconnected MAP sensor would cause symptoms of a blown motor.

I lost my engine on just an intake and DP at about 20k miles. So it doesn't take much. Maybe his engine was around 80k and just on the way out anyways and just needed the slightly higher boost from those mods to break.

Not the same. According to him he just cranked it up after doing all the work and it died in the drive way after a minutes run time.
