modification advice

i have around 2500 dollars to spend on the car. currently, i have an ACT street/strip, 9.5 pounds flywheel, silicone hoses, silicone spark wires, hks super dragger catback, blitz dual turbo timer, 99 front bumper, sparco steering wheel, razo shift ****, 18 inch 5 spoke wheels, and side skirts.

heres a list of what i need, but obviously i cant get it all in the limited amount of money:
power fc
air intake
downpipe
efini y-pipe
gauges (air/fuel being the most important)
blowoff valve
ignition amplifier
high flow exhaust.

please, tell me what my next step should be out of that list. i will do all of the work myself, so labor hopefully wont be an issue.

also, can someone tell me the difference between an intake system, and a cold intake system?

thanks.

I would get the PFC, downpipe, intake, y-pipe and gauges. If you buy used you can swing it. Also if you make your own intake. If not, then get the PFC, downpipe, intake, gauges. The intake will make your stock BOV sound cool enough. Oh yeah, open intake just has filters sitting in the engine bay. Cold air intake has filters in a box supplied with cold air.

Efini Y pipe Than a Power FC your gonna have to buy it sooner or later. But the gains will be minimal until you get a Air intake.

Cold air system typically tries to draw cold air before it goes through the Radiator. Warm air draws after the Air has gone through the radiator.

air/fuel gauge is not the most important. If you were to get only 2 gauges get boost and water temp.

You don't need a BOV at all.

I'd get:

1) $1,100 PFC with commander, new because a used one will be tuned to something funky probably, and a new one comes tuned to CatBack, DP, and Intake.

2) $300 DP (in addtion to 2 exhaust gaskets, and a new gasket for the y-pipe (cause you will need to take that off too)

3) $50-$400 Intake

4) $250 If you are sure that you will stay with stock turbos then go ahead and get the y-pipe and throw it in when you do teh DP install. If you think you may go single turbo in the future then just skip the y-pipe.

Total: $2050 plus money for shipping and stuff like gaskets and other misc stuff you will need.

You can easily get all that for the money you have. If you get the PFC new it should be tuned fine for you out of the box, and later you can have it dyno tuned when you get more mods.
