Missing Vent Screen

The mesh screen that goes in the side vents -- we've lost one somehow.

Ray says that he only has them with the whole vent, so that's not an option.

Has anyone replaced them with anything?

I know I can get to the back of the vent through the fender well, but just wondering what people have used to replace these?

thanks

You have to buy the entire vent, but If you want to spend the time I suppose you could buy some sort of plastic mesh from Home Depot. You need to pull back the fender liner to get to the vent securing screws.

Probably laying inside the space between the fender and wheel well liner. Remove the liner and check. Post a WTB on the FS forum and see if you get a hit

Yeah I broke one of mine while washing the car - I just sorta poked it with my hand and it broke free.

One of these days' I'll get around to epoxying it back to the vent panel. It's hard to notice that it's missing.

My drivers side screen is missing, and until I decide to paint the car, it will stay missing.

I never thought to see if it was still hanging under there somewhere....I doubt it but worth a look.

Take the one on the other side out. You might start a whole new look.

Every time I 'lose' one of mine, I find it in the fender well. Just pop off the vent and feel around. Who knows...it might be down in there. Usually is.

What the hell am I, chopped liver ?

Actually, I did find your missing vent......it was stuck in a fricking spider's nest, and when I tried to grab it twelve of them bit me and in my haste to get away I accidentally stepped on it
