Has anyone relocated their side mirrors to the front fenders, about 12" in front of windshield and as close the the seam between the fender and hood as possible? I know the doors will require body work and the electric wires may have to be a bit longer.

 

I know several have relocated the center mirror and inch or so up for tall drivers, but I thought DOT regs requires side mirrors to be on the doors themselves.

 

Toadman, I think you are right. I'll do some checking. All the cars I seen (no FD's) with this mod have been for the track only, not street use.
