hey, i was wondering where or what in the car keeps track of the mileage/odometor memory. no, i'm not trying to set mines back to 0 or anything, i was just wondering. if u install a new computer like the power fc, will that mess with it? does anyone know anything about this?

The odometer setting is held within the back of the tach. Its one of the many styles that contains the memory in the back of the tach..the power FC doesn't mess with it at all.

 

isn't the computer just for controlling the fuel injection system, not anything else?
