mid pipe question... reverse question

guys...

i've read alot about midpipes... it gives horse power and also boost creep... unless with a boost controller or a ported wastegate...

my question is actually the other way round...... my car comes with a mid pipe...if i were to put in a mini muffler.. or a high flow cat....

i will gain for sure some silence..... but... i need to know about the horse power and the responsiveness of the turbine....

will it reduce the responsiveness of the turbo spooling?
will it increase the torque on the mid range?
will it reduce significant number of horse power ?

and side effects ?

nevermind....

decided not to go back to the midpipe... fixed my flange... matched up the sizing to 3.2 inch as the rest of my exhaust system is 3.2 inch...

sound even more fun now

if you get creep, a boost controller wont help any. only thing you can do is to port the wastegate or install restrictor plates in your exhaust
