Hi everyone!
I recently bought a new meter hood, upon installation I realized that the turn indicator lights up yellow instead of green with the new meter hood. Does anyone know if this is a new design or is there something wrong here? I am a bit confused..

The arrow lens looks dark green (so dark it's almost black).

 

Every oem meter hood I've ever seen has green lenses in order to change the color. Your new one doesnt seem to have them, so you just see the light straight from the bulbs.

Change to green leds or find/transfer the lenses would be possible fixes

 

Sounds about right, I did compare the new one and old one before installation, and it looked like it does have a len, just much darker. Talking to Ray about this.

 

If you're handy, you can use some transparent green vinyl.

 

Yeah, but doesn't seem right that I have to do extra work to make a green light happen. Still talking to Ray about a possible warranty on the meter hood since I got it only few months back.

 

I 100% agree with you. I wouldn't do it myself but just giving the option.

 

Did you buy an oem gauge hood or an aftermarket one?
