Metallic noise on cold startups??
Everytime I start the car on cold startups in first gear, I could hear somthing grinding. It sould like it's metal hitting metal and it's coming from the engine bay. It happen for about 3 seconds and then goes away. What could it be? It sounds like you take a bolt and shake it in a can. This has been happening for awhile. If I start it neutral and let it jump to 3k rpms. The noise is less and it goes away in 1 second. Hope you guys understand.

don't race, don't need to
My machine does the EXACT same thing. I figure the turbos are just happily grinding away to nothingness. Or everything is fine, situation normal, doooon't worry. Cause why would an FD owner be worried about EVERY little sound it makes, or EVERY little smell?
