Medium SMIC piping and the air pump

I have a friend with a 94 SS PEP, and we are about to install a medium SMIC in it. The IC is a Spearco core, with custom piping that goes straight into the y-pipe. The problem is that the current owner of the IC has it on his car with no air pump. My friend has the Bonez Hi-Flo CAT, so he needs to keep his airpump.

Eye balling the installation, the intake has a hose that runs to the air pump, and that hose appears to be in the way of the IC piping.

My question is for those of you that have medium SMIC's (BNR, M2, etc...) do you still have your air pumps? If so, please post some pics of your install so that I can see how you routed your IC piping.

Thanks!

there are a couple of different pipe kits outthere...the newer design is bent to allow for an airpump. You will need to mod the airpump intake elbow piping alittle. You need to unscrew the two screws turn it then screw it back on....we used a dremel to make it fit alittle better on to the airpump. Some people say you need to lower the airpump and raise the alternator..i didnt need to.
