Mazdaspeed Steering Shaft

I found a Mazdaspeed kit for sale that contains a Mazdaspeed steering shaft (part # QFD1-32-090A). The seller describes it as a steering shaft having "more teeth for a tighter turning radius".

I have near head of this piece and a search did not turn up anything.

Does anyone have any information on this?

TIA

Are you talking about the steering rack or the intermediate shaft that goes to the steering column from the rack. I was looking through one of those hot version books the other day and they showed a picture of the mazdaspeed bushing kit and that intermediate shaft comes with it. I want that kit so bad! Not a fan of urathane. The mazdaspeed one is harder ruber. Anyway let me know what you find out.

My guess is that it is the intermediate shaft because the part number for the OEM Mazda piece is similar (FD01-32-090A).
