Have a question for the FD owners out there using the mazdaspeed *****.

I really want the Mazdaspeed leather shift **** from the rx7store.net, however Jason tells me it will not fit on a FC, but SAMPs on the 2nd gen forum managed to get a mazdaspeed carbon fibre **** on the 89to 91 threads.

Isn't the carbon fibre **** the same thread size as the leather mazdaspeed ****?

Are we talking about the ball type mazdaspeed shift ****? (carbon fiber). Correct me if im wrong but i dont think they are threaded instead they use set screw(s) to hold them on the shift lever. I might be wrong though.
