Max safe boost on stock injectors
Tuning guru's: What is the max PSI of boost (on stock twins) that the stock injectors can handle?
I was driving in to work yesterday morning and got on it, boosting up to .96 bar according to the PFC (not calibrated). I am concerned with the boost level, primarily because I'm only tuned to around .8.
However, I am asking about the max capability on the stock injectors because I will see my IDC hit 100% fairly regularly, this can happen anywhere from .7 bar to .8 bar. Also mildly curious about the relation between IDC, Boost, and RPM. I've seen a peak boost of .86 hitting in anywhere from 70% IDC to 100% IDC, both occuring well over 6.5krpm's, while I'll see high 7's to low .8 bar hitting 100% at or below 6.5k rpm's.
Is this just the results of my current tune, or some atmospheric effect? (temp has been fairly steady recently. Just now starting to warm up)
All in all I'm not terribly concerned with maxing the IDC, since I will be replacing all injectors and my fuel pump when I swap out the turbo's and add a bunch of other goodies. I'm just trying to gain an understanding of how this works, and I haven't seen this relationship spelled out anywhere yet.
Thanks guys!

Max boost has more to with other aspects than just the injectors themselves. Check this thread for some info:
