matching impeller wheels on nonsequential?

I couldn't find anything specific on this topic under the search engine so dont kill me for asking this question if it has been beaten to death. From my understanding the sequential setup has two different impeller wheels.Has any one changed or matched these wheels when doing a non sequential conversion. The reason I ask is that I have two twin turbos and will be doing a nonsequential conversion on another motor I am building and wonder about the unmatched wheels and the obvious benifits of having them spool and boost equally.

Thanks,
Nick

I was under the impression that they were both the same turbos size wise, but I, being a n00b, could be wrong.

They are both the same turbo's, Hitachi HT12's. There is no difference in the impeller wheel sizes, whether they be set up non-sequentially or seqeuntially.

I have heard, but cannot confirm, that one turbine has 10 blades and the other one has 11. Or something like that. I don't know if it is true or not.

Even if they are found to be different, it isn't clear to me that making them the same would have benefit (or at least have benefit worth the effort). The flow path for each turbo is quite different, so even if the turbines are identical their performance will still be different.

If no one has posted a reply by sunday/monday, I'll go count them on my stockers.
(engine is pulled apart for rebuild, turbo's are with the car)
