Mass Air question
Mass Air question
Has anyone converted there car to mass air? I know it has to be possible, might take forever to get it right. Anyway, i think if these cars were mass air, i dont think we would need a 1200 computer to mod them.
Just a thought, and if anyone knows anything about this topic, let me know please.
One other thing, how do i make an RX-7 non-sequential? Any info/links on that would be greatly apreaciated also.
Thanks in advance.

it could be done but why waste the time..it would just be a bottle neck in the intake..these cars can run 600rwhp on a reliable well tuend ems..so what the need ...sure it would make it cheaper and easier to mod but if thats your case buy a supra..."1200 computer to mod them " wtf u talking abt?
the lightning site has a wealth of knowledge on goin non-seq, i think u may wana lear the car b4 u go moding it...trust me

IMO it wouldn't be worth trying to convert to mass air, for the price of doing it you could either get a REDOM ecu(pettit, m2, gforce) or even a pfc or something like that by the time you get the mass air parts and get everything sorted out. And even if you got the mass air to work, wouldn't you end up upgrading mass air meters, etc for mods? You can get a used REDOM ecu for upwards of $350.00 and a pfc or haltech for 1k+..
Also on the non-seq. mod.. Are you sure you want to go non-seq? Do you know the pros and cons?
