The Marvels of Montego

I made a site showing the different shades of Montego Blue. Let me know what you think.

Nevermind, the data transfer limit is too low. Admin, please delete this message.

MB is still the ugliest color for the FD, IMO.

I agree, it has to be the worst. Kinda like the ugly red headed step child that no one talks about.

Thanks

Yeah i don't mind montego.. it's a cool color because it's metallic and it kinda "changes colors" depending on the angle.. i know someone that has one and it looks very nice..

Besides Silver, Montego is the best looking of all the colors. It's really niiicccceeeeeee how the color changes at different angles!

Here is another pic of the Montego where it actually looks blue. It won't let me upload it again so here is the link.

I hated Montego until I bought one. I didn't really care what color it was as long as it was in excellent condition. After I had it for a while I ended up loving the color. Plus the chrome factory wheels made it look great.

Here's a pic where you can see how blue it gets. Sorry there is so little of it.

Im w/ rtryrktrx7!
Until I bought my car that was the least desired color IMO for the FD. But once I started looking at these cars a few months back it started to grow on me.

One thing I noticed was all the so called 'cool' colors were beat up. And ya know what? Thank God most of the squids out there dont like the MB's. My guess is the majority of MB owners were older men who took better care of their cars. Just a thought anyway from my observations.

Every red or silver FD I came across had some poser/squid trying to sell me the car for its cool color rather than the shitty condition it WAS in. Some were mechanically substandard others were all dinged up.
Ill take my clean MB anyday!

Hey JoeD what color is ur FD again?????? LMAO!!!!

I had never seen a FD in person until I went to check out the one I bought. The color is my favorite next to Yellow.

I was fooled into thinking that this was real color when I was buying my FD. So it's a little bit more green, but I still bought this car.

I like the blue in MBM but not the green. I think it would be perfect if it was the color of the blue boarders on the forum All green might be cool too. If I ever decide to do a color change I'm going with a metallic British green that I've seen on a couple Range Rovers. I think it would complement the soft lines of the FD very well(especially with a couple raw carbon fiber parts to spice things up

The British green sounds interesting to me. Don't laugh, but I bet a couple of clean racing stripes would be cool too!
