I hated Montego until I bought one. I didn't really care what color it was as long as it was in excellent condition. After I had it for a while I ended up loving the color. Plus the chrome factory wheels made it look great.
Here's a pic where you can see how blue it gets. Sorry there is so little of it.

Im w/ rtryrktrx7!
Until I bought my car that was the least desired color IMO for the FD. But once I started looking at these cars a few months back it started to grow on me.
One thing I noticed was all the so called 'cool' colors were beat up. And ya know what? Thank God most of the squids out there dont like the MB's. My guess is the majority of MB owners were older men who took better care of their cars. Just a thought anyway from my observations.
Every red or silver FD I came across had some poser/squid trying to sell me the car for its cool color rather than the shitty condition it WAS in. Some were mechanically substandard others were all dinged up.
Ill take my clean MB anyday!
Hey JoeD what color is ur FD again??????
LMAO!!!!

yeah i dont think montego is very photographic, i hated it in pictures, but when i saw it in person, i loved it, i've gotten alot of complements on it because it looks sort of chameleon, but i will admit i still like silver and yellow better
I like the blue in MBM but not the green. I think it would be perfect if it was the color of the blue boarders on the forum
All green might be cool too. If I ever decide to do a color change I'm going with a metallic British green that I've seen on a couple Range Rovers. I think it would complement the soft lines of the FD very well(especially with a couple raw carbon fiber parts to spice things up
